What to include in a fishing line enquiry

Use the series reference and a specific size-table row when requesting fishing line samples or a quotation.

Start with the series reference

Send the JL reference shown on the product page, along with the series name. Similar names can refer to separate ranges with different specification tables. Browse the fishing line categories.

Choose a row, not just a headline rating

Include the line number, diameter and the strength value you want quoted. Where a table lists linear strength and knot strength separately, say which column you mean. For example, the JL-001 NT20 table lists both columns beside each diameter.

Specify how you want it supplied

Add the intended use, color, length per spool, packaging requirements and quantity. If you need several sizes, list the quantity for each size. Send artwork requirements separately from the line specifications.
